The snow is falling and the students are hoping for a snow day, but it looks like that's not going to happen.  Better luck next time!  This is a slow week for the games as we wrap up the first quarter on Warrior Way.  The Lady Warriors defeated Madeira Saturday 52-46 to run their record to an impressive 13-1 and undefeated through the first round of the CHL play.  The team is ranked #2 in the Enquirer poll, behind Alter from Dayton.  The Lady Warriors remain home this Saturday to face Taylor at noon and 1:30, and on the 20th, they'll travel to Indian Hill for a 6 and 7:30 pairing with the Braves.

The boys basketball Warriors have been on a little bit of a run themselves lately, raising their record to 5-5, 3-2 in the CHL, and breaking into the city's top 10 at the #9 spot.  The Warriors host Finneytown Friday at 6 and 7:30, while the Freshmen will host the Badin Rams at 4:30.  On Saturday, the Warriors travel to New Richmond for an afternoon event with games at 1, 2:30 and 4pm.  And on the 19th, it's a road game to Madeira against those Mustangs at 4:30,6, and 7:30.

The Water Warriors have been busy lately.  After the girls finished 2nd in Bowling Green, they've been undefeated!  With a #1 ranking in the Enquirer, and the boys with a #4 ranking, both squads will compete in the Southwest Ohio Coaches Classic this weekend Saturday and Sunday at Milford.  Those swimmers that make it to the finals will be at Keating Natatorium Sunday night.  Good luck!

The wrestler have been busy in a number of tournaments.  Mikey Butler and  Drew Fiorenza are in the top three of their weight classes in the CHL.  The team travels to Sycamore this Saturday.

Congratulations to the Junior High Swimmers and Coaches Hewitt and Noble as the girls finished 1st in the City Championships and the boys finished 2nd.

The Mariemont Sports Stag, the 11th annual Sports Stag, will be held on March 7th at the 20th Century in Oakley. This year's featured speaker is former Cincinnati Bengal and current NFL analyst Solomon Wilcots. Tickets are $60 and $100, and special VIP and Sponsor packages are available.  Contact AD Tom Nerl for more information.

Thanks for your support of our coaches and athletes.  We'll see the games and remember to Respect the Game and, as always, bebetter!
