Congratulations to the three Mariemont High School art students, whose artwork was selected at the regional competition to be included in the Ohio Governor’s Youth Art Exhibition. Leah Dupre, Henry Lewis and Nina Willis had artwork selected for state judging later this month. Each year, approximately only 20% of the entries are selected to enter state judging.
The Ohio Governor's Youth Art Exhibition is dedicated to the educational and artistic advancement of talented young people in the state of Ohio. The exhibition is open to all of Ohio's 1,112 high schools, both public and private. The purpose is "to provide all budding young artists of the state with opportunities to advance their talent, whether that be through scholarships or simply experiencing the process of entering their work in a competition."
Nina Willis had artwork selected in the Mixed Media category; Henry Lewis in Photography; and Leah Dupre in Mixed Media.
Congratulations to these fine artists!
