Mariemont City School District's Orchestra program is designed to teach violin, viola, cello or string bass to students in grades five through twelve. It is challenging and rewarding and allows students to have a sense of connection to something very important in our school and community.
The Orchestra program provides students the opportunity to strive to improve their musical skills and musicianship. It is also a great choice for students who want to be part of an interdependent, enjoyable group and who like making music with others throughout their educational experience. Students in the program also have the opportunity to audition for district-wide and state-wide honors orchestras as well as various other on-going extra-curricular orchestra programs and camps.
Mariemont's Orchestra Department is devoted helping students foster technical development, artistry, musicianship and community involvement.
