Year 2011 means it's been 30 years since graduation! The dates to save on your calendar are August 5 & 6, 2011.

 

More details will be coming, but a mixer is planned for August 5 that will include alums from other years and August 6 will be a dinner/dance for the Class of 1981.

There are many people we no longer have emails for and still other classmates we have totally lost contact with. If you are on Facebook, Linked In or use other networking websites, feel free to do some searches for "lost" classmates and keep Amy informed as to your findings. We want to locate as many as possible! Pass the word!

Current News / Needs

 

The MHS Class of '81 Reunion Committee's goal has been to give our classmates a great reunion experience at an exceptional value. This has been accomplished in the past, due to the generous donations of classmates. As you can imagine, the cost of having a reunion adds up. Had it not been for the generous contributions from many, many of our classmates, the cost for attending a Friday and Saturday Reunion (drinks not included) organized by a reunion planning company would be around $200/person. Our goal is to keep your entire cost for the weekend to around $50 per person (drinks not included) as we have had in the past.

 

So we come to you to ask for your help in achieving our goal and offer you an incentive by way of a friendly competition to encourage your participation. If you contribute at the Leadership level, you will receive a complimentary round of golf at KCC on Saturday afternoon, and if you contribute at the Chieftain level, your round of golf will be discounted (IF you are one of the first seven contributors we receive at those two levels). So think about sending a donation, even a small donation will help to sponsor a part of the reunion.  Did you play in the band or sing in the choir? Then send a little something to contribute to the music. Did you go to dinner before prom? Then send a little something to sponsor the dinner. Did you go to the river party, Weech's boathouse, parties in IH, parties wherever? Then send something to offset the cost of the Friday night mixer. Print the Donation Slip below and fill out to include with your check! We'll keep you posted as to what the highest contributions are in case you need to send another check to top your buddy's donation!

 

In Closing...
 
As in the last five reunions we've helped to organize, we leave you with a toast to Kick-Off of our 30th Reunion! We can't wait to hear back from you so we can include everyone with the planning updates. Please mark your calendar now for August 5 & 6, 2011. We'll be in touch frequently with emails and again with a formal invitation early next summer. Please respond to Amy with your updates.

Hello Classmates!

 

Happy New Year and get ready for 2011! That means it's been 30 years since graduation! Take yourself back those 30 years---when hair was big, typewriters were used for English papers, music came on tapes and High Schools had smoking lounges! Now it's time to celebrate our historic graduation! (And let's face it....the next reunion will put us ALL over 50 so put this reunion on your calendar before we leave our forties behind!)

Current News / Needs

 

We need your help. Look over the Directory and update your info in an email to Amy Doggett-Ostigny at: aostigny@bizcinci.rr.com.

 

There are many people we no longer have emails for and still other classmates we have totally lost contact with. Look at the blank sections in the directory. You can see who is missing, and if you have info on those classmates, you can get in touch with them and tell them to email Amy with their contact info. Copies of the directory will be emailed out periodically to give you updates. If you are on Facebook, Linked In or use other networking websites, feel free to do some searches for "lost" classmates and keep Amy informed as to your findings.
