Special Scholarship Opportunities
Danforth Scholars Program – Washington University in St. Louis
MHS can nominate one student for this program. They seek students who exhibit maturity, strong moral character, selflessness, and commitment to the community. Of course, you have to also attend Wash. U. for this scholarship. If you are interested in being considered for this nomination, please complete the following questions and email to Mrs. Leszczuk (aleszczuk@mariemontschools.org) by September 8 – (bullet pointed answers are fine at this point)
➢ How have you made an exceptional contribution to your community?
➢ How do you exhibit personal integrity, leadership, and academic excellence?
Our scholarship committee will review those seniors who are interested and let you know of the nomination.

National Society Daughters of the American Revolution
Seniors who demonstrate the qualities of dependability, service, leadership, and patriotism are invited to see Mrs. Leszczuk for details regarding this scholarship. MHS will need to choose one representative. See Mrs. Leszczuk by September 8 if you would like to be considered.

Wells Scholars
MHS can nominate two outstanding seniors for the Wells Scholars Program at Indiana U. This is a prestigious merit award which includes the full cost of attendance as well as a study abroad opportunity and many other perks. If you are interested in being a MHS nominee for this scholarship, see Mrs. Leszczuk by September 8.
