Fairfax Elementary School, dedicated in 1930, is at the very heart of the Village of Fairfax. Fairfax Elementary has rich traditions of academic excellence and strong community standards. A neighborhood school responsible for educating approximately 170 students, Fairfax Elementary has the smallest pupil-teacher ratio of any K-12 school in the district. The success of Fairfax Elementary can be attributed to its excellent staff, involved parents, and supportive community. The children who attend Fairfax Elementary have the opportunity to be involved in a number of academic enrichment and athletic programs sponsored by the school and neighborhood organizations. The school and community work collaboratively to insure that each child is given the opportunity to flourish personally and academically.
